HILTON Harriers Jets went goal crazy at the top of STRETTON McDONALD’S UNDER-NINE DIVISION ONE.
Nathan Edwards scored four times, there were hat-tricks for Daniel Dodd, Sam Mycroft and Max Peplow and Daniel Clover and Callum Samson both scored twice in a 16-0 rout of bottom club Newhall Tigers.
However, Stretton Swifts remain the title favourites after beating Winshill 5-2 to extend their 100 per cent record to 10 games.
Swifts had Kyle Bambrick, Harry Beard, Riley Nixon, Riley Crawley and George Malkin on target, while Jayden Clamp and Max Haywood replied for Winshill.
Barton Spartans have an 11- point lead at the top of UNDER-NINE DIVISION TWO, but did not provide the names of their scorers in a 4-1 defeat of Uttoxeter Juniors.
Belvedere Red picked up a point in a 2-2 draw thanks to goals from Alex Gibson and Cameron Wigley against Whittington Lasers.
Lewie Thornton and Callum Wood clinched a 2-0 win for Doveridge against Netherseal St Peter’s, while Hilton Tornadoes went one better courtesy of goals from Josh Tunnicliffe (2) and Oliver Boyes against Woodville Black.
UNDER-NINE DIVISION THREE leaders Belvedere Park were on the wrong end of a 2-1 scoreline as LRT upset the form book, with Jack Smith scoring both of their goals.
Harry Smith replied for Belvedere.
Oliver Higgs scored all the goals as Hatton Sports won 3- 0 against Outwoods Eagles, while Uttoxeter White also had a hat-trick hero in Oscar Smith-Canham, who was joined on the scoresheet by James Wright (2) in a 5-0 defeat of Willington.
Barton Hercules and Hilton Flyers shared the points in an eight-goal thriller.
Goals from Isaac Parker (2), Humphry Jackson and Alex Chapman for Flyers were countered by Ethan Ashton (2) and Jack Branson (2) for Barton.
TS Sports Villa are 12 points clear at the top of UNDER-NINE DIVISION FOUR after Harrison Mills and James Pruden starred with five goals apiece in an 11-0 thrashing of Marlborough Black. Joe Wheatcroft also scored for the Newhall side.
In contrast, Belvedere White took the spoils against Rocester Blue thanks to a solitary Luke Adams strike, while Josh Fisher’s goal proved enough for Woodville Blue against Chellaston Red Sox.
