Harriers book semi-final spot with Hatton win

HILTON Harriers Jets sealed their place in the semi-finals of the BRIAN MOLE UNDER-10 CUP with a comfortable win over rivals Hatton Sports.

Max Peplow (3), Nathan Brown and Daniel Dodd netted for Jets, while Oliver Higgs pulled one back for Hatton.

They will face Belvedere Park White in the last four after they beat clubmates Belvedere Park Red 1-0 in their quarter-final clash thanks to a goal from Alex Hodson.

The other semi-final will be contested by TS Sports Hammers and Doveridge after both came through their last eight ties.

Hammers saw off Whittington Lasers 4-2 thanks to goals from Ben Prince, Charlie Wood, Ruper Collins and Cian Riordan, with Owen Hair and William Ingham hitting back.

Hammers stable mates, TS Villa, almost made it an all-South Derbyshire semi-final, but went out on penalties to Doveridge following a 1-1 draw.

Harrison Mills scored for Villa, while Lewie Thornton netted for Doveridge, who won the shoot-out 2-1.

TUTBURY Tigers got through to the semi-final of the BURTON ALBION UNDER-11 CUP with a 2-1 win over Chellaston Red Sox, although they needed extra-time to do it.

Callum Bell and Leo Tacchi scored for Tutbury, while Kion Etete netted for Chellaston.

Tigers will face Newhall Rams in the semi-final after they crushed Belvedere Park 8-2.

Adam Palmer (4), Jakob Hall (2), Hannah Pickering and Alex Banton scored for Newhall, while Daniel Griffin and Ben Cawson hit back for Belvedere.

Mayfield got through to the last four in the other quarter-final tie to be played and will face Outwoods Eagles for a place in the final after beating Barton Rovers Spartans 3-1.

Jack Edge, Ryan Pickering and Owen Pugh scored for Mayfield, while Ben Farrell replied for Barton.
