Outwoods hit for six as Blues stay top of table

WILLINGTON Blue scorched past Outwoods Eagles 6-0 to maintain their position at the top of BURTON ALBION UNDER-11 DIVISION ONE.

Tutbury Tigers v Abbot's Bromley - Burton Junior Football under 10sShay Rainford (2), Clark Belmore, Sam Dilkes, Zach Walker and Luke Wilson scored for Willington, who are still unbeaten this season.

Mayfield stay second after they beat Newhall Rams 4-2 away. Harry Breeze (2), Louis Birch and Kieran Richardson netted for the Ashbourne village outfit, while Alex Banton and Jamie Bourne scored for Newhall.

Struggling Barton Rovers Spartans are still looking for a first win and went down 6-2 at home to Hilton Harriers Blaze.

Rhys Evans (4) ran riot and was joined on the scoresheet by Jamie Walker and Luke Widdowson. Jack Matthews and Aston Millington netted for Barton.

Tutbury Tigers shot down Whittington Harriers 4-0 with goals from Ethan Deas, Leo Tacchi, Harrison Fox and Kai Wilson.

Only one match was played in BURTON ALBION UNDER-11 DIVISION TWO and Abbots Bromley heaped further misery on Uttoxeter Juniors Grey.

The village side won 5-1 through goals from Jonathan Goodwin (4) and Charles Plummer. Harrison Bott grabbed Grey’s reply.

Marlborough Rovers Black are still riding high in BURTON ALBION UNDER-11 DIVISION THREE after a 4-0 victory at home to Woodville Rangers Black.

Kain Patching (2), Oliver Baker and Luke Whitby netted for Rovers.

Riverside Athletic Black are in hot pursuit and beat Willington White 3-1 to underline their own title credentials.

William Boyle, Harry Dodd and Haydn O’Neill won it for Riverside as Harry Mason hit back for Willington.

TS Sports are still rooted to the foot of the table after a 4-2 defeat at Chellaston Boys Red Sox.

Kion Etete (2), George Stone and Tom Wright got on the scoresheet for Chellaston, while Tom Brint and Miles Tarry scored for Sports.

Outwoods Hawks got their first win of the season thanks to a 1-0 triumph at Rolleston Black, with Edward Skinner getting on the scoresheet.

Netherseal St Peter’s are still winless after a 7-2 defeat at Belvedere Park.

Jack Meredith (4), Tom Machin, Nathan Merriman and substitute Harry Handsaker scored for Park, while William Parker and Antoine Young replied.

Hatton Sports dropped their first points of the season in BURTON ALBION UNDER-11 DIVISION FOUR in a 2-2 draw at third-placed Doveridge.

James Metcalfe’s goals for Hatton were cancelled out by Robert Bradley and Matthew Omer for Doveridge, who could go top if they win their two games in hand.

Uttoxeter Juniors stayed second following a 13-1 crushing of poor Winshill Green, who are still without a point this season. Harry Tedd netted for Winshill.

Woodville Rangers Blue shot up the table after securing their first win of the campaign, 3-1 at struggling Newhall Lions.

Tom Joyce (2) and Edward Welch scored for Woodville as Fabien Kerlo notched for Newhall.

Midway beat Hilton Harriers Sparks 3-1 away in only their second match of the season.

Ciaran Heywood (2) and Liam Brown scored for Midway — who are handily placed if they win their games in hand — as Piotre Blake netted for Sparks.

TS Sports Hammers dropped their first points of the season in a 1-1 draw at home to Rocester Red in WINSHILL SOCCER SCHOOL UNDER-10 DIVISION ONE.

Nico Ambrose scored for Hammers, but the prolific Charlie Cope grabbed Rocester a share of the spoils.

Hilton Harriers Jets are now the only side with a 100 per cent record after a 4-0 win over Marlborough Rovers.

Callum Samson cracked a hat-trick for the league leaders, with Max Peplow adding the other goal.

Winshill climbed up to fourth spot following a 5-2 victory at Stretton Eagles which left the losers bottom of the table.

Ford Chambers hit a hat-trick for Winshill and he was backed up by a brace from Isaac Chinnock. James Price and Riley Nixon replied for Stretton.

Whittington Villa climbed off the bottom with a 1-1 draw at home to Ashby Ivanhoe Jesters.

Josh Cox scored for Villa while Calem Lewis-Thomas hit back for Jesters.

Chellaston Boys Black Sox and Hilton Harriers Tornadoes drew 2-2. Marcus Nwokoro and Callum McLaughlin netted for Chellaston, while Jonathan Dawkins and James Donlan scored for Hilton.

Substitute Joe Wardle netted as Belvedere Park Blue beat clubmates Belvedere Park Red 1-0 to go second in BRIAN MOLE UNDER-10 DIVISION TWO.

They moved above Santos Ravens, but are still behind unbeaten leaders Whittington Lasers, who beat Doveridge 5-0 thanks to goals from Sam Allen-Smith, Sam Cartwright, Sam Little and Owen Hair. An own goal counted for their fifth.

Hilton Harriers Flyers and Riverside Black drew 2-2. Substitute Jak Swain netted twice for Black, while Isaac Parker and Mitchell Kemish were among the goals for Flyers.

Uttoxeter Juniors White beat clubmates Uttoxeter Juniors 8-0, but are nine points off the pace.

Albert Village Tornadoes were run close by Hatton Sports before emerging 3-2 winners to maintain their 100 per cent start to the HARDY SIGNS UNDER-10 DIVISION THREE campaign.

Diham Choudhary (2) and Liam Berry were the goalscorers for Tornadoes.

Belvedere Park White secured their first points of the season with a 3-1 victory over LRT which lifted them off the bottom.

Josh Gold (2) and Luke Adams hit the net, while Jack Smith grabbed a consolation for LRT.

Newhall Tigers’ woes continued with a 6-1 drubbing at the hands of Barton Rovers Hercules.

Alex Mair (2), Ethan Ashton and Michael Ainger all scored after coming off the bench for Hercules, adding to goals from Richard Ward and Jack Branson. Reece Balfour got the consolation for Tigers.

TS Sports Villa are second with a game in hand and beat Willington 4-1 to keep up their perfect record.

Ben Fido (2), Joe Wheatcroft and Max Haywood netted for Villa, while Cole Tunnicliffe responded for Willington.

Woodville Rangers Black and Chellaston Red Sox drew 1-1 as Ryan Watson scored for the former and Brandon Paine hit back for the latter.

Belvedere Park Black had too much for poor Rocester Blue and demolished them 7-0 in BJFL UNDER-10 DIVISION FOUR.

Alex Norton (2), Ryan Tait (2), George Makin, Aidan Locke and Henry Collins ensured the Romans sank without trace and Belvedere stayed top.

Second-placed Midway squeezed past Outwoods Eagles 2-1 through goals from Louis Mawbey and Owen Ward. Zain Khalid replied for Eagles.

TS Sports Rovers moved third after a 2-1 victory over Marlborough Rovers Black. Lucas Wright and Cameron Kelly netted for Sports, while Reuben Betts responded for Black.

Outwoods Hawks beat basement outfit Woodville Rangers Blue 3-2 to record a second win of the campaign.

Kyran Smith’s brace and a goal from Reece Allen saw off Woodville, for whom George Fowler and Ellis O’Sullivan took them close to a first positive result of the season.

Alrewas Colts beat Riverside Athletic Red 2-1 with a double from Callum Richardson. Ellie Grice hit back for an under-strength Riverside team.
