Sports go clear after beating title rivals

MICKLEOVER Sports threw the gauntlet down to their BURTON ALBION UNDER-11 DIVISION ONE title rivals with a 6-0 drubbing of second-placed Marlborough Black.

The Derby side are three points clear and looking handy for the title as goals from Charlie Stone (3), Tyler Lane, Duke Masters and Alfie Tipping wrapped up victory.

Chellaston Red Sox, 13 points behind in third spot, beat Midway 4-0 through goals from Joshua Nkoworo, James Vincencio- Prior, Josiah West and Henry Bowe.

Doveridge enjoyed a 6-0 win at Burton All Stars as Benjamin Crawford (2), Josef Lobosco (2), Alexander Jones and Jack Grant found the net.

Luke Glen popped up with the winner for New Boulton in their 1-0 victory over Belvedere Blue, while Winshill Gold’s 3-0 success at Repton Casuals came courtesy of goals from Kyle Camp (2) and Harry Collins.

Jamie Gregory (2), Keldon Gordon (2), Nathan Morley and Aaron Wheldon scored as Hilton Black beat Whittington Warriors 6-2, with Tom Mayers and Oliver Pargeter replying.

Chellaston Black Sox and TS Sports are still slugging it out in their battle to win the TAYLOR CARPETS SWAD UNDER-11 DIVISION TWO title.

Chellaston annihilated Abbots Bromley 9-1 with hat-tricks from Daniel Baggley and Luke Hodgkinson and goals for Bradley Harlow (2) and Harvey Loomes.

Benjamin Mathews replied for sorry Bromley.

TS Sports kept pace with a 6-0 demolition of Barton Rovers Spartans. Thomas Alford (3), Zak Ray (2) and Joshua Taylor netted.

Marlborough Rovers and Ashby Ivanhoe drew 1-1 after goals from William Smith (Marlborough) and Jack O’Regan (Ivanhoe).

Rolleston beat bottom side Hilton Harriers Orange 4-0 with goals from Thomas Hackett (2), Leon Price and Dylan Thompson.

James Cooksedge (3) and Henry Blencowe goals saw Uttoxeter White defeat Newhall Tigers, with Mia Hill hitting back.

Wyrley Juniors kept up their 100 per cent record in HOLIDAYS DIRECT UNDER-11 DIVISION THREE with a 2-0 win over Midway Red. Taylor Bayliss and Billy Hammond were on target.

Willington bulldozed Alrewas Colts 13- 0 in a destructive display. Keir Sheppard (4), Jagveer Dhadi (3), Michael Matthews (2), Lawrence Penman (2) and Azaan Afzal (2) scored.

Stapenhill Swans stayed second after beating bottom side Hilton Harriers White 7-0 through goals from James Dales (3), Billy-Ray Stanley (2), Oliver Hawkins and Jake Logie.

Belvedere Red got the better of Melbourne United Red Sox 4-1 thanks to the efforts of Spencer Boothby, Harry Caswell, Jacob Marshall and Jak Bannister.

Hatton Sports and Woodville Rangers drew 2-2. Mason O’Leary and Ethan Williams netted for Hatton, with Kian Twigger and Mitchell Smith replying for Woodville.
