Under-13s, Under-14s, Under-15s, Under-16s and Youth leagues round-up

In KL ENGINEERING UNDER-15 Division One, leaders Barton Rovers Hercules suffered what could prove a costly defeat when Liam Boothby and Edward Sheen netted to give hosts Repton Casuals a 2-0 win.

With fellow title contenders Marlborough Rovers not playing, Gresley FC took full advantage to supplement their title challenge as they overpowered lowly Branston 7-1.

Jack Mills’ double headed a list of six different scorers for the young Moatmen, with Jack Bryan, Alex Garner, Ashley Green, Callum Porter and substitute Demenco Galli also on target.

Tyrone Meredith’s brace proved decisive for hosts Belvedere Park as they triumphed 4-3 in their mid-table clash with Newhall Lions by the odd goal in seven.

Kurt Latham and Mason Atkin were also on target for Belvedere while James Golding, Harry Hughes and Macauley Smith posted the Lions reply.

Although, Ryan Cockayne and Marcus Shields were on target for ZAFIRE YOUTH LEAGUE Division One basement side Anglesey Swifts, the hosts were unable to prevent Winshill from taking the three points which saw them crowned league champions by scoring seven goals in response for a 7-2 win.

Joe Gates netted twice, with the balance coming courtesy of Louis Ranyard, Sam Sutton, Tom Toon, Andy Ward and Dan Dolby.

Third-placed LRT suffered a 3-1 defeat at Newhall Lions in TRADETEAM UNDER-16 Division One.

Callum Jenkins (2) and George Rothwell earned the Lions maximum points, while Adam Milner registered the visitors’ consolation.

With MARLEY ETERNIT UNDER-14 Division One leaders Unity All Stars without a game, their three closest rivals – Newhall Tigers, Marlborough Rovers and Whittington Albion – all picked up maximum points.

Owen Judd, Jordan Lees, Connor Adams and Alex Preston shared the Tigers’ tally in a 4-2 defeat of St Georges.

Leon Gibson was the days top marksman with five of Marlborough Rovers’ dozen against Rolleston.

Both Nathan Banton and Aaron Hunter weighed in with doubles while Joe Smith, Joal Stevenson and Lewis Adlam completed the scoring.

Harvey Dolman was responsible for Repton Casuals White’s consolation at Whittington Albion, who replied with seven of their own through Sam Chilvers (3), Domonic Russell (2), Tom Sanders and Joseph Sbarra.

In MFSS UNDER-14 Division Two, Uttoxeter leapfrogged non-playing Alrewas into second place after romping to a 14-1 victory over struggling Measham Welfare Pumas.

Mathew Hollins’ hat-trick led a list of no fewer than nine different scorers including doubles from Thomas Dee, Jack Scallon and Kai Stewards.

Although they have a game in hand, Uttoxeter still trail leaders Stapenhill Swans by four points following the Swans’ 3-1 success over fourth-placed Tutbury Tigers.

Dylan Palmer, Barthoz Wrobel and Jack Costello grabbed the Swans’ all important goals while Liam Smith claimed the Tigers’ consolation.

Doveridge beat visiting Mayfield 4-1, with Joseph Lawman’s double receiving support from Callum Russell and Frazer Clowes, while Liam Hemsill registered the Mayfield consolation.

Despite a goal from Charlie Morton, Ammington Diamonds consolidated third place in ARRIVA MIDLANDS UNDER-13 Division One with a 4-1 victory at Marlborough Rovers.

In BJFL UNDER-13 Division Two, Winshill Yellow swept aside Hilton Harriers Lions 6-0 with Liam Hanson and Jake Howard scoring twice as well as goals from Jak Grainger and Callum Parker.
