Under-9s and Under-10s leagues round-up

HILTON Harriers Jets have opened up an eight-point gap at the top of Winshill Soccer School Under-10 Division One after beating Barton Rovers Spartans 4-0.

The Jets’ scorers were Nathan Brown and Callum Samson, with a brace apiece.

Marlborough Rovers picked up a great point in a 1-1 draw with Hilton Harriers Tornadoes thanks to Harvey Cunningham, while Jonathan Dawkins replied.

Whittington Villa took a narrow 2-1 victory against Rocester Red thanks to goals from Joshua Bramall and Joshua Cox, while Charlie Cope replied.

Brian Mole Under-10 Division Two leaders Belvedere Blue suffered a shock 2-1 defeat at the hands of battling Doveridge.

Charlie Land netted both for Doveridge, while Kian Turnbull replied for Belvedere.

Counterparts Belvedere Red had an impressive victory against Uttoxeter Juniors thanks to Mohammed Latif, Curtis Ridgway, Retss Williams and a hat-trick for Jay Ridgway.

It ended all square at 2+2 between Riverside Athletic Black and Hilton Harriers Flyers, as goals from Joshua Hall, Toby Smith (Riverside) were matched by strikes from Thomas Barnes and Isaac Parker (Hilton).

Freddie Fathers and Owen Hair were on target in the 2-1 win for Whittington Lasers against Santos Ravens, for whom William Matthews replied.

TS Sports Villa picked up a great 4-1 win to see them move second in Hardy Signs Under-10 Division Three.

Villa’s goalscorers were James Pruden, Bradley Starkey and a double from Benjamin Fido, while Christian Histed pulled one back for Barton Hercules.

Jack Abraham, Matthew Bradley and Matthew Eyre all found the back of the net in the 3-0 win for Chellaston Red Sox against Newhall Tigers.

Goals from Oliver Higgs, Jack Hodson Walker (Hatton Sports) and Harvey Dudley, Jack Smith (LRT) ensured the points were shared in a 2-2 draw.

Rolleston Reds’ 2-0 win against Willington came courtesy of goals from Josef Newton and Charlie Spendlove, while Woodville Black beat Belvedere Park White thanks to goals from Ryan Walton and Callum Read (2).

Belvedere Black continue to comfortably lead the way at the top of BJFL Under-10 Division Four as goals from Alex Norton, George Malkin and a stunning hat-trick for Ryan Tait saw them to a 5-0 victory against Marlborough Rovers Black.

Matthew Jobson was on hand to net the winner for Outwoods Eagles in a 1-0 victory over stablemates Outwoods Hawks.

Goals from Daniel Barsby, Leo Lant-Hughes, Ben Mumford amd Toby Smith ensured Midway came out on top in a 4-0 win over Alrewas Colts.

Rocester Blue notched up a 3-0 win against Woodville Rangers Blue thanks to goals from Henry Wallace and a brace from Nathan Winstanley.

Belvedere Red’s latest win keeps them top of the McDonalds Under-9 Division One, after goals from Charlie Wain and a brace from Ciaran Saunt saw them 3-1 victors over Uttoxeter White, for whom Ethan Newton-Taylor replied.

Chellaston Boys picked up a valuable point in a 2-2 draw with Mickleover Sports as strikes from Daniel Dimmock and Kieran Siviter were cancelled out by a Daniel Needham double.

Newhall Tigers’ 2-1 victory over Hilton Harriers Falcons came courtesy of goals from Jacob Fantarrow and Tristan Sharp, while Alfie Walker was on hand to reply for Hilton.

Goals from Saevuk Atwal (Willington Blue) and Oliver Warzybok (Barton Hercules) ensured their game ended all square at 1-1.

With McDonalds Under-9 Division Two leaders Whittington Vipers not in action, the big winners were Rolleston Black, who notched up a comfortable 7-0 win against Doveridge.

On target were Liam Mewis and Louis Henson with a brace apiece and a stunning hat-trick for Mitchell Banton.

Owen Evans hit both to seal a 2-0 victory for Rocester against Stretton Eagles Black and keep up the pressure on top spot.

It ended 4-1 for Whittington Wildcats thanks to goals from Daniel Pearce, Joe de Waele and a double for Edward Hardy, while Euan Reid replied for Outwoods Eagles.

Marlborough Black notched up a comfortable 4-0 win against Hilton Harriers Hawks thanks to Jack Peach and a superb hat-trick from Joshua Ramsdall.

In McDonalds Under-9 Division Three, leaders Albert Village suffered a shock 6-0 defeat at the hands of Barton Spartans.

The goalscorers were Cameron Jones, Joshua Kendrick and a four from Ben McHoul.

That meant that Gresley’s 1-1 draw with Marlborough moved them level on points at the top, as Thomas Robinson (Gresley) and Tom Wilson (Marlborough) traded blows.

Hatton Sports won 7-0 against Midway Black through goals from Alfie Tomlinson and a hat-trick apiece for Dylan Bramall and Kai Andrews.

A James Moore brace and a stunning hat-trick from Billy Dicker ensured Abbots Bromley came out on top in a 5-3 win over Riverside Athletic Red, whose replies came through Alfie Mitchell, Jake Howlett and Joshua Ashbury.

The top two in the McDonalds Under-9 Division Four – Ashby Ivanhoe and Uttoxeter - battled out a 2-2 draw, as a George House brace for Ashby and goals from Ashton Baggley and Lewis Turner (Uttoxeter) ensuring the spoils were shared.

Winshill Green helped themselves to a comfortable 5-1 win against Stretton Eagles Green thanks to goals from Nathan Brassington, Oliver Walls and a hat-trick for George Wishlade.

TS Sports’ Harry Machell and Thomas Coghlan (2) both netted in their 3-1 win over Hilton Harriers Eagles, who replied through Luke McGuire.

It ended all square in an eight-goal thriller between Repton Casuals and Belvedere Park Blue. The goalscorers were Christopher Bradley, Oliver Heap, Shayne Williams and Nathanial Smith (Repton), and Callum Niven, Luke Jefferey and a Laith Holden brace (Belvedere).
