Willington close in as Rovers are held to draw

The Derby outfit drew 1-1 with rivals Mickleover Sports, with Jack Griffiths scoring for Sports and Sam Wilkinson replying.

Spondon’s draw allowed Willington to close the gap to a point with a 4-1 win at Outwoods Eagles.

Shay Rainford (2), Luke Wilson and Ayden Beesla secured victory, while Toby Ganley replied.

Chellaston Black Sox beat Tutbury Tigers 1-0 thanks to a Thomas Watson goal, while Matthew Moody and Kieran Richardson efforts ensured Mayfield Panthers beat Abbots Bromley 2-1, with Christopher Kitson replying.

Hilton Blaze beat Marlborough Yellow 4-1 through goals from Michael Birch, Jamie Walker, Tobi Shaw and Harry Whitworth. Charlie Adlam hit back.

TS Sports Tigers maintained their four-point gap at the top of ADMEN UNDER-10 DIVISION TWO with a 2-0 win over Winshill Gold secured by goals from Sam Peacock and Thomas Brint.

Stretton Swifts are hot on their heels after a 6-0 win over Repton Casuals. Kai Wilson (3), Matthew Hughes (2) and Tom Woods scored.

Rocester won 1-0 at bottom side Netherseal St Peter’s thanks to Alfred Bednall’s goal, while Whittington Colts beat Uttoxeter Black 2-0 through the efforts of Tommi Smekss and William Maloney.

Uttoxeter Grey beat Barton Spartans 3-1 with goals from Thomas Leadbetter, Matthew Ockleton and Jay Hughes- Ratcliffe. Jack Mathews replied for Barton Spartans.

Ashby Ivanhoe are still leading the way in HARDY SIGNS UNDER-10 DIVISION THREE after a 5-1 win at Outwoods Hawks. Tom Fargher (3), Ben Porter and Ben Windridge netted.

Stretton Eagles won 3-2 at Hilton Harriers Fire to keep up some pressure. On target for Eagles were Kane Tisdall (2) and Jack Press, while Max McCamley hit both for Hilton.

A hat-trick from Hayden O’Neill was enough for Riverside Athletic Black to beat Chellaston White Sox 3-2, with Samuel McVay (2) replying for Chellaston.

Marlborough Black beat Winshill Green 5-0 thanks to strikes from Harley Chevin (2), Kain Patching, Luke Whitby and Joshua Knight.

Aiden Summers hit the only goal of the game as Belvedere beat Doveridge 1-0 away.

Chellaston Red Sox beat Woodville Purple 3-0 thanks to goals from Kion Etete, Kye Taylor-Souden and Cody Tillbrook.

Leaders Willington White beat Woodville Blue 2-0 to stay top of DNS UNDER-10 DIVISION FOUR thanks to Sam Houghton and Corben Sims.

TS Sports Colts, meanwhile, won their first match of the season — 2-1 at bottom side Rolleston Red. Joshua Topliss and Haider Ali netted, with Kieran Stringer hitting back.

Rolleston Black, in second spot, kept up the pressure with a 3-0 win over Hilton Sparks. Charlie Finch (2) and Henry Carlton-Greaves were the scorers.

Riverside Athletic Black beat Outwoods Kestrels 3-1 with goals from James Burnett, Joel Foster and George West. Callum Carter replied.

Harry Timms popped up with the winner for Newhall Lions in a 1-0 win over Hatton Sports.

Midway came out on top in a seven-goal thriller with Uttoxeter. Liam Brown (3) and Owen Jury secured victory, with Nicholas Jakes (2) and Harry Johnson on target for Uttoxeter.
