Venue Hunting

Written byKimberly Matthews

We decided on a date for our wedding pretty much as soon as after James proposed. We decided on 9th May 2015 (2015 as it gives us plenty of time to save). We would often sit talking before about what we each wanted for our wedding day. I wanted what all girls want on that big magical day, James on the other hand wanted something a little more on the quiet side. Neither of us attend church or are very religious so we decided that a church wedding was not for us.

We looked at several places that we liked but the one we fell in love with was Packington Moor Farm. It was stunning and we both loved it. The ceremony room was just breath taking. This then led into the breakfast room where all I could do was stand there and exclaim "WOW!" It was just so welcoming and the staff were great.

The gardens were beautiful and had plenty of photo opportunities which was one of the main things we wanted.

Within a week of viewing the venue we had booked our date. Since booking the venue we have been back up a couple of times to wedding fayres and to show family around. We have also started to think about how we can arrange everything in the venue.

Even though we don’t get married till 2015 I like to have everything prepared down to the last detail.

To all the newly bride and grooms to be I would deeply recommend viewing Packington.
