TWO Burton houses will go under the hammer at auction next month.

The properties, which are both end terraced houses, are only a short distance from one another in Long Street and Short Street, Stapenhill. Each house has double glazing and central heating.

The two houses have guide prices of £46,000 and £58,000 and have been described as an excellent opportunity for someone interested in developing them.

Andrew Parker, director at Graham Penny Auctions, said: "It's not only the street names for these properties that draw your interest, it's also their investment potential. Both properties are in a popular rental area and with Short Street already having a tenancy agreement in place, the new purchaser can start benefiting from the yields even quicker."

The properties will go under the hammer at the Graham Penny Property Auction at Derby County's iPro Stadium on September 11. Bids can be made online and over the phone as well as in person.
