ASDA supermarket in Burton has partnered up with the British Heart Foundation to support the charity throughout the month of February as part of its Ramp up the Red campaign.
As the UK’s biggest killer coronary heart disease, the store’s aim is to raise awareness to the public and raise vital funds which funds research into beating the disease.
Lucy Clipsom, ASDA community life champion said: “ASDA is proud to be supporting such a worthwhile and vital cause.
“As well as raising vital funds for the British Heart Foundation we hope to raise awareness in our local communities, and educate people about heart health.”
ASDA are also raising money for a new heart defibrillator which will be situated in the store.
