SHOPPERS watched on as two men brawled in a supermarket in Burton.

Police were called to Asda, in Orchard Street, at 5.30pm on Thursday, after a fight broke out between two customers following a row.

The incident became the talk of social media, with witnesses describing seeing the two men ‘grappling at the self-service tills’.

One man was punched, but no arrests were made.

A Staffordshire Police spokesman said: “We were made aware of an assault at Asda just after 5.30pm.

“One man punched another and damage was caused to barriers.

“The injured party did not wish to make a complaint and Asda did not wish to make a complaint.
