Support for Derbyshire's high sheriff as he continues charity trek

DERBYSHIRE'S deputy police and crime commissioner came out to support the high sheriff yesterday as he continued his trek around the county border.

David Coleman, a former Chief Constable, began his 222-mile walk around the Derbyshire border at the start of August for the Peak District Mountain Rescue Organisation, with Hardyal Dhinsda on hand to keep his spirits up yesterday.

Mr Dhinsda said: "The high sheriff is determined to bring funds to charities that are invaluable to Derbyshire and I was delighted to support him."
