BURTON Albion have made one change for their trip to York City today, with Robbie Weir ruled out with a hamstring injury.

Skipper Lee Bell slots into Weir's place in central midfield, while new signing Ashley Hemmings came in on the bench.

Otherwise, it was unchanged from the team which started Tuesday night's win over Wycombe Wanderers, with Adam McGurk and Billy Kee starting up front for the second game in a row.

David Gray and Callum McFadzean occupied the wide roles again, with Jimmy Phillips not fit enough to start after picking up an ankle injury.

Weir picked up a knock early in midweek, but was expected to have shaken it off for today's game, but the midfielder misses out.

York made just one change to their starting line-up, with Ryan Brobbel, re-signed on loan from former UEFA Cup finalists Middlesbrough this week, replacing Ryan Jarvis.

Former Brewers Adam Reed and Russ Penn made up the Minstermen's central midfield.

BURTON ALBION (4-4-2): Lainton; Edwards, Sharps, Cansdell-Sherriff, McCrory; Gray, Bell, Palmer, McFadzean; McGurk, Kee; subs: Knowles, Phillips, Lyness, Holness, MacDonald, Alexander, Hemmings.

YORK CITY (4-4-2): Pope; Oyebanjo, McCombe, Lowe, Davies; Brobbel, Reed, Penn, Hayhurst; Bowman, Coulson; subs: D McGurk, Andrew, Jarvis, Montrose, Platt, Ingham, Puri.
