CHILDREN can test their sporting knowledge in a competition to celebrate the Commonwealth Games when the Farmers' Market comes to Swadlincote at the end of the month.
On Thursday, July 31 youngsters will be invited to find the 10 sports dotted around different stalls at the market to be in with a chance of winning a prize.
There will also be a bouncy castle, an exhibition by the Magic Attic history archive and locally produced ice cream, plus tourist information centre staff will be on hand to give details about events, activities, workshops and days out in the area during school holidays.
The award-winning farmers' market takes place on the last Thursday of every month between 9am and 3pm on The Delph in Swadlincote.
Stalls sell local and fresh produce grown, raised, made, brewed, baked or caught within 35 miles of the National Forest.
Free parking is available and the market is close to the bus station.
