ZUMBA, funky steps and rocker-cise were the chosen dances for a charity event which saw people shake their booty to raise funds for the Me and Dee charity.
The three-hour event held at Meadowside Leisure Centre in Burton raised more than £1,000, and saw 45 people take part.
Organiser Jennifer Gurney, 24, from Newhall said: “I am really pleased with how it went. It means that children will be able to benefit from holidays that Me and Dee provide.
“I have done a few things with the charity before and hope to do more in the future after the success of this event.”
Me and Dee provides caravan holidays for children with life-limiting conditions, and comfort packs for parents and their children who have been admitted to hospital immediately following diagnosis.
The money was raised through a £10 entry fee, with sponsorship optional.
