Tributes paid as Charles loses brave cancer fight

TRIBUTES have poured in for a 25-year-old described as ‘happy, positive and friendly’ after he died following a brave battle with cancer.

Charles Hickman, of Burton, passed away on Monday following a long fight against the disease. Social networking site Facebook was flooded with messages for the former Cineworld worker.

Ellie Tate posted: “So sad and shocked to hear the news. The most happy, positive and friendly guy – feel very happy to have known you.”

Corinne Pearson said: “The world has lost a great person and we’ve lost an amazing friend. We miss you.”

Georgina Elliott posted: “I’ve had the privilege of knowing you more than 10 years and calling you one of my closest friends.”
