TWYCROSS Zoo has spent much of this year turning an old prairie dog enclosure into a new herb garden.
Now the garden is complete, it is full of lustrous crops and plants for the animals at the zoo to enjoy.
Zoo keepers are now inviting children and adults to take a look at their new addition and even feed some of the animals with the veggies that have been home-grown in the garden.
A spokesman for the zoo said: "We grow our own herbs here at Twycross Zoo and our keepers use the herbs as enrichment for the animals, which is a great way to offer our animals choice and novelty by exciting their five senses.
"Enrichment also increases physical and mental activity levels, and encourages natural behaviours such as foraging."
