A SOUTH Derbyshire village is to lose its RBS branch, the banking giant has announced.
Repton’s RBS is among 44 branches that have been earmarked for closure after a 30 per cent fall in transactions over the past four years.
But Rob Macgregor, national officer at the Unite union, said people living in areas affected would lose out.
He said: “This is a stealth attack on local communities by bailed-out RBS. There are communities across the country being denied access to a local bank.”
