WRESTLING rolled into the Midlands this week as WWE superstars faced off in the squared circle as part of a UK tour.

A raft of grapplers headed to the ring at the National Indoor Arena, in Birmingham, as part of World Wrestling Entertainment’s Wrestlemania Revenge tour.

Ring stars including John Cena, The Wyatt Family and the USOs were on show as the capacity crowd lifted the roof off the arena.

While an organisation like TNA may come across as a more fan friendly show, the WWE cannot be knocked for its top notch production that it offers up to fans.

One of the loudest reactions of the night came when Cesaro utilised his big swing.

The worst match of the night was when Los Matadores and El Torito defeated Heath Slater, Drew McIntyre and Hornswoggle.

This was boring, the crowd did not get into it and it featured too many silly moments for me.

More people switched off from this than they did the diva match.

Its only saving grace is that it was very, very short.

The main event saw John Cena defeat Bray Wyatt.

Cena got his usual mixed reaction. Kids love him, adults hate him.

The match was good and showed that the pair had great chemistry

Overall, the show was a hit with only a few missteps.

The crowd went home happy but one criticism would be it would have been nice to have seen the talentpool of the WWE better split during tours in the future.
