HAND gel. Check. Toilet roll. Check. Wet wipes. Check. Dry shampoo. Check. Thousands of festivalgoers will be pitching up at Weston Park in Stafford today for V Festival 2013, anticipating that the next time they will feel properly clean will be in three days’ time.
But a wipe wash and porter loo trips are not the only options available to ticket holders who are preparing for a weekend watching their favourite bands, DJs and solo artists.
In an effort to make the festival open to everyone who enjoys live music, but not necessarily the skipping showers and lugging around accommodation, V Festival offers ways to live in luxury at the event.
Instead of spending hours confused over which tent pole slots where, revellers can opt for the V Style Luxury Camping where accommodation needs are taken care of.
Located away from the main campsites, with a dedicated car park and entrance and a private walkway to the arena, people can choose to stay in everything from yurts and tipis to trailers, huts and even gypsy caravans and they are all set up before arrival and removed after ticket holders have packed up and gone home.
Luxury camping allows people to spend time away from the crowds if desired, and focus on things such as their festival fashion and line up choices and it includes access to a V Style lounge café & bar, recovery spa and showers and premium toilets.
For those who aren’t fussed about luxury living but are feeling too lazy to haul to the site their own camping equipment they will be happy to hear about Lazy Camper HQ.
They provide complete camping kits which can be collected on arrival at the festival.
Camping may not necessarily be a concern for many of the people heading to V Festival today but a lot of people will be turning to the private luxury loos.
Equipped with mirrors and vanity units, quality toilet roll, hand dryers and cosmetics, the men and women who pay to use them have unlimited access over the weekend, with hot water on tap.
As if that is not enough a lucky few this weekend will get to enjoy a Golden Ticket luxury experience. Everyone that buys an official programme is asked to look out for a special ticket inside which would see them carried off by a Virgin Media Angel to a comfy hut on the luxury campsite.
As part of the package they will also have access to the VIP area in the arena.
