On the evening of 13th July 2012, we caught up with medium Derek Acorah prior to his performance at Stoke's Victoria Hall as part of the True Vision tour.
In Part 2 of our exclusive interview, Derek discusses his post football years, working at Littlewoods and how a simple advert in the local press offering his spirtiual services led to him opening a shop in Wavertree from which he began his career as a professional medium.
We then follow his journey from local radio with Billy and Wally on Radio Merseyside, to national exposure through the James Whale Radio Show and a variety of television programmes for Granada Breeze.
Derek then leads us through his time on Most Haunted to the programmes which followed, such as Antiques Ghost Show and Derek Acorah's Ghost Towns, and the reason why the former only ran for three series.
We also learn how Derek conducts readings over the phone and from inanimate objects, skills he has used in his radio and television appearances.
This is the second part of four. The first part was published yesterday and the third part will be online on Monday 16th 2012 at 1pm with the final part the day after.
