A TEENAGER has been jailed for two months after stealing aerosols and breaching a young offenders' licence.

Dalton Stopp, 19, of Hawfield Lane, Winshill, appeared at Burton Magistrates' Court to admit breaching his young offenders' institute licence by failing to report for supervision on June 5.

At the same hearing, the 19-year-old criminal also admitted stealing aerosols worth £42.77 from the Co-operative, Burton, on May 31.

Magistrates decided to jail him for two months for the latest theft for aerosols, and 30 days for the breach, to run concurrently.

Young offenders, aged under 21, who have served 12 months or less will be subject to a young offenders' institute licence for three months after their release which will require them to complete certain tasks.
