Damage done to bollard at front of Burton Town Hall

A BOLLARD outside Burton Town Hall has been left looking a little worse for wear.

The wooden post, installed to protect the Victorian building from being hit by vehicles, has been wrenched from the ground and left at the roadside.

Concrete slabs around the bollard in King Edward Place have also been ripped from the floor.

The bollard is believed to have been damaged some time on Thursday evening and this photo was taken on Friday morning.

The damaged bollard is located outside the town hall’s civic function suite, near St Paul’s Church.
