A MIDLANDS health spa is urging us to ‘get on our bikes’ this bank holiday and raise money for charity.
Champneys group of countryside spa, including Springs, near Ashby, will be hosting a gym spinathon today and tomorrow with the proceeds will be donated to good causes.
Guests at the spas (day and overnight) and club members will be set a 24-hour challenge to see how far they can cycle in 55 minutes.
Prizes will be available for the greatest distance cycled by both men and women at each of Champneys four spas, each spa’s total cycling distance, and for the male and female champions across the whole group.
There are 12 time slots available each day at each of the four countryside health spas so if you would like to be in with a chance of winning a spa weekend for two (worth £918), contact email@example.com to book your slot between 8am-8pm each day. Entry costs £20 with all funds raised being donated to the Champneys Charitable Foundation.
