The Motorcycle Diaries

A MOTORCYCLIST from Burton has begun an epic African adventure to raise money for a life-saving air ambulance service.

Motorcycle Diaries - Ben Robinson Ben Robinson, son of the Burton Albion chairman of the same name, is taking part in the Cannonball Bike Run - a five day rally through Morocco, to raise money for the County Air Ambulance.

Ben, and his Yamaha R1 bike, will be joining riders from countries around the world in a route which will take him on a circuitous route starting and ending in the Mediterranean port of Tangiers.

He will experience a stunning range of scenery, from the sand dunes of the Sahara desert, to high mountain passes, to stunning coastal roads.
