Clough in a spin as DJ arrives
NIGEL Clough is delighted to have finally got his man after securing the services of striker DJ Campbell on a one-month loan deal, writes TOM SLOAN.

The 28-year-old Leicester City flyer will go straight into the squad for tomorrowʼs clash with Reading at Pride Park.
He will add much-needed pace to a Rams squad short on speed after injuries to James Vaughan and Steve Davies.
Clough hopes Campbell — whose initials strand for Dudley Junior — will blend seamlessly into his frontline alongside Rob Hulse.
The Rams boss said: “Iʼm really pleased weʼve managed to get the deal done to bring DJ here.
“He has raw pace and, as Iʼve said already this week, that is something weʼve been missing up top.
“It certainly gives us another option and more competition alongside Rob Hulse, Paul Dickov and Chris Porter, who is getting closer to full fitness.
“This is a deal weʼve worked hard on and it is always nice when your hard work pays off.” Campbell first came to national notice playing for Hayes & Yeading during their run to the third round of the FA Cup in 2005.
He signed for Brentford and scored 12 times in 28 games, earning a £500,000 move to Birmingham City in 2006, where he played his part in leading the Blues back into the Premier League.
But he was sold to the Foxes for £1.6million in the summer of 2007 and has endured a torrid time at the Walkers Stadium, netting just five times in 46 games.
However, Campbell did score nine times during a loan spell with Blackpool last season, ending as the clubʼs top scorer.
Clough has not been so lucky in his pursuit of a goalkeeper, with Blackburn Rovers knocking back a loan approach for England under-21 starlet Frank Fielding.
But the goalkeeping crisis has eased with the news that Saul Deeneyʼs ankle problem has improved.
Said Clough: “We thought he would be out four to six weeks but he has had a scan and the injury has improved a lot.
“He will probably miss Reading but should be okay for West Brom.”
