Charlie Taylor could be heading for the Elland Road exit door after talks resumed with Burnley about a deal for the left-back.

The Yorkshire Evening Post have reported that talks have renewed between the pair over a fee for Taylor, who is out of contract this summer but commands a fee due to his age.

The 23-year-old has refused a new deal in the hope of getting a move to a Premier League side after starring for the Whites in their unsuccessful push for the play-offs last term - with West Bromwich Albion showing an interest earlier this summer.

But now it looks like Burnley are set to seal Taylor's services, with Leeds hoping for around £5 million for the academy graduate.

Aston Villa new-boy John Terry has revealed he would be interested in a possible career in management once his time as a player concludes.

Terry signed a one-year-deal with Villa yesterday after leaving Chelsea upon the expiry of his contract last month.

"I think that's a goal for all of us, me and Lamps [Frank Lampard] have had those conversations," he told the Daily Telegraph .

"Do you dream too big? I don't think you ever can. I've always wanted to be the very best and if that's in management, then Chelsea's the one and obviously in an ideal world that would be incredible.

Rangers are on the brink of securing the signing of Norwich City midfielder Graham Dorrans, according to the Daily Record.

Dorrans is expected to become the Ibrox side's ninth signing of the summer, after a £1.5 million bid was deemed sufficient by Carrow Road bosses.

Rangers have managed to secure the signing despite a late intervention from Sunderland, with new manager Simon Grayson understood to be an admirer.

But the 30-year-old reportedly has his heart set on a move to boyhood heroes Rangers and will complete the move.

Huddersfield are reportedly on the brink of a triple swoop as they plan for their debut Premier League season.

SportMail's sister title the Huddersfield Daily Examiner claims that Reading's Danny Williams, Derby County's Tom Ince and Montpellier striker Steve Mounie are all close to joining the Terriers.

Williams and Ince will make the step up from the Championship with the Terriers - while Benin striker Mounie could from the French top-flight side.

The Examiner believe all three deals should be finalised and confirmed in the coming few days or by the end of the week at the very latest.
