Traffic is building again due to the closure of St Peter's Bridge

There have been reports of heavy traffic on the A444 Burton Road in both directions, which is especially bad around Park Road.

The A444 St Peter’s Street northbound is also facing slow traffic between A5189 St Peter’s Bridge and the A511 Ashby Road. The build-up is also affecting the A511 Ashby Road and the A444 Stapenhill Road in both directions.

Cloudy day in store

It seems as though the warm, sunny weather from Bank Holiday Monday has gone, and we are left with a largely cloudy day with some light rain. It will feel much cooler today, with highs of 15C.
