A man found with cannabis has been fined after appearing in court . He was among the latest criminals to have their cases dealt with at Southern Derbyshire Magistrates' Court:

Drugs

A man has admitted drugs possession. Imrad Hussain, 27, of Uxbridge Street, Burton, admitted possession of 0.063 grammes of cannabis in Burton on June 9.
He has been fined £120 and ordered to pay £85 court costs and a £30 victim surcharge.

Drink case

A teenager has been convicted of drink-driving. Tegan Yates, 19, of Furlong Close, Alrewas, admitted driving a Peugeot 206 in Guild Street, Burton, on June 30, with 46 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.
She has been fined £120 and ordered to pay £85 court costs and a £30 victim surcharge. She has been banned from driving for 12 months.

Drink-drive

A man has been caught drink-driving. Mariuss Zabiegly, 35, of Kent Road, Burton, admitted driving a Vauxhall Corsa in Stapenhill Road, Burton, on June 14, with 94 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.
He has been fined £265 and ordered to pay £85 court costs and a £30 victim surcharge. He has been banned from driving for six months.

Assault incident

A woman has admitted assault. Christine Gibson, 21, of Wyggeston Street, Burton, admitted assaulting a woman at Burton Railway Station on February 21.
She has been fined £40 and ordered to pay £85 court costs and a £30 victim surcharge.

Breath specimen

A woman admitted failing to provide a breath specimen. Maxine Riley, 57, of Richard Cooper Road, Shenstone, admitted failing to provide a specimen of breath in Sandy Lane, Swadlincote, on June 8.
She has been fined £120 and ordered to pay £85 court costs and a £30 victim surcharge. She has been banned from driving for 36 months.
