Two men are due to be sentenced next month for a burglary at the empty premises of a former public house in Burton earlier this year.
Paul Turner, 34, had been due to stand trial when he appeared at Stafford Crown Court yesterday, but pleaded guilty to the burglary allegation instead.
At an earlier hearing 38-year-old Darren Johnson had pleaded guilty to the offence.
At court yesterday, Thursday, July 20, Judge Michael Chambers adjourned the case for sentence until August 11.
The two defendants were involved in entering the premises in Moor Street as trespassers and stealing a wheelbarrow and a fridge and a number of power tools on January 29 this year.
Turner, of Grange Street, Burton, was granted bail with a condition of a monitored curfew and Johnson, of no fixed address, remains in custody.
