Investigations are continuing into the suspicious death of a man found in his home in Stretton.
Staffordshire Police said officers were continuing their investigation into the death of Francis Lovelock, who was known as Frank. He was was found dead at a house in Main Street at 8.15pm on Saturday, July 29.
A post-mortem examination revealed the cause of his death to be the result of a 'blunt' head injury. A 41-year-old man arrested in connection with the death has been released by police while investigations continue.
Officers are carrying out a detailed probe into the circumstances of the death and want to hear from anyone with any information.
As part of the probe, officers are also continuing to appeal for witnesses to a disturbance which happened five days earlier in Stretton on Tuesday, July 25, at The Green during that evening. They are investigating whether this is linked.
