A man was caught with cannabis he intended to deal by police in Burton, a court had heard.

He was among the latest people to have their cases dealt with at North Staffordshire Justice Centre. Here are some of the latest cases:

Cannabis

A man has admitting possession of cannabis with intent to supply. Lloyd Sims, 27, of Churnet Row, Rocester, Uttoxeter, admitted possession of 9.75 grams of cannabis with intent to supply in Burton on October 21.

He has been fined £300 and ordered to pay £185 court costs and a £30 victim surcharge.

Driving

A woman admitted a driving offence. Nusrat Parveen, 48, of Shobnall Street, Burton, admitted driving a Vauxhall Corsa in Belvedere Road, Burton, on November 9, without due care and attention.

She has been fined £80 and ordered to pay £85 court costs and a £30 victim surcharge.

Her licence was endorsed with five penalty points.

Fish

A man was caught illegally taking fish. It was proved in his absence that Ryan Scarisbrick, 30, of Richmond Street, Burton, fished or took fish otherwise than in accordance with a licence by means of a rod and line in Burton on September 18.

He has been fined £440 and ordered to pay £127 court costs and a £44 victim surcharge.
