An apprentice teaching assistant at a school in Stretton will be undertaking a charity sky dive tomorrow to raise money for charity.

Megan Mason, 19, from Horninglow, will be skydiving from 13,000 feet at Sibson Airfield, in Peterborough, on Friday, June 30 in aid of the Friends of Fountains Federation.

Miss Mason, who is hoping to raise at least £300 for the federation, said: "I am really looking forward to the sky dive but I have butterflies about the jump."

The Fountains Federation is a pair of schools based in Stretton, catering for children between the ages of two and 19 years old with a wide variety of special needs and disabilities.

Donations can be made to the school office, which is situated in Bitham Lane, Stretton. Alternatively, to support the sky dive click here
