A 44-year-old man who was caught by paedophile vigilantes has admitted three charges of grooming underage "girls".
Kevin Collins, of Empire Road, Winshill, admitted three counts of sexual communication with underage girls.
Collins appeared at Stafford Crown Court following his arrest by Staffordshire Police after officers were notified by the vigilante group Keeping Kids Safe, whose members pose as underage girls online in order to expose paedophiles.
Collins has admitted intentionally communicating with three girls he knew were 16 or under for the purpose of obtaining sexual gratification, and that the communication was sexual.
The offences were committed between June 25 and July 15, this year.
He is due to attend Stafford Crown Court the week beginning September 18 to be sentenced and has been remanded into custody.
