Police are searching for a 13-year-old girl has been reported missing from her Derbyshire home.

Vanesa Magyarova was last seen at her home in Netherclose Street, Normanton, Derby on Monday, July 24 at 6pm, said a Derbyshire police spokesman.

Her family understood that she was staying with friends but she has not yet returned home.

Officers have said they are growing concerned for the safety of the teenager and have appealed to the public for information in a bid to help find her.

They believe she may still in Normanton or the city centre area of Derby.

Anyone who knows of of whereabouts is asked to contact us on 101, quoting incident number 1112 of July 25.

Meanwhile, police are still looking for John Brierley-Edwards who disappeared from his Ilkeston home in Derbyshire.

The 16-year-old was last seen at 11.05pm in Cotmanhay Road. He was wearing black-rimmed glasses, jeans, trainers, a shiny silver jacket with embroidery on the shoulders and a black hat.

A police spokeswoman said: “Anyone that knows of John’s whereabouts is asked to contact officers on 101, quoting incident number 1139 of July 25.”

Pensioner Doris Goller, from Breaston, went missing earlier this week and police mounted a national search to track her down. Officers announced yesterday, Wednesday, July 26, that she had been found about two miles away in Risley and taken to hospital.
