Members of a theatre group in Burton have a reason to celebrate after every single student passed their drama exams.
Theatre Cats Stage School, which has classes in Burton, Newhall and Mickleover, offers theatre classes for children up to the age of 16. The youngsters had to prepare monologues, mimes, recite poetry from memory and engage in story-telling to pass their exams which were set by Trinity College London.
Principal Catherine Budworth said: "The weekend of exams ranging from grade one to eight in speech and drama and acting skills were a huge success with every single student achieving the required pass mark.
"The children and their parents were absolutely thrilled when we gave them the news. We look forward to presenting the certificates to the students in September. We are really proud of our students - they have all worked so hard."
The group will celebrate its 10th birthday with a special showcase at the Brewhouse Arts Centre in Burton.
