Thunderstorms could be heading to Burton and Swadlincote so make sure you grab the waterproof before heading out.
Forecasters have predicted that although it is a sunny start to today, Tuesday, August 1, it will not last long as by around 11am there is a chance of heavy rain and by 1pm they are predicting a thunderstorm.
However, after that the rain should ease off a little and temperatures will reach highs of 19C.
Forecasters have said that it will be another day of sunshine and showers which will be heavy, thundery and slow moving which will mean longer spells of rain. The showers will ease through the afternoon with some warm sunshine and light winds.
The showers will fade overnight leaving it drier with clear spells but it will be cooler.
