Burton Albion may have a new famous face supporting them in next month's Carabao Cup trip to Manchester United.
BBC Breakfast presenter Naga Munchetty has wished the Brewers luck on Twitter and said she will 'follow more closely' after asking "where's Burton Albion?" during a segment on this morning's programme.
Some of the competition's standout third-round ties were being read out by sports presenter Sally Nugent when Munchetty asked the question.
After some laughter from Nugent - who was about to discuss the draw being held in Beijing in the early hours of Thursday morning - Munchetty added: "I'm sorry! Everyone from Burton Albion or who supports them is going to hate me!"
Nugent then informed her of where the club is situated. "Near Stoke-on-Trent? Burton-on-Trent, I'm being told in my ear," she said.
Albion will travel to Old Trafford in the week commencing September 18 for the third round of the competition - their second trip to the home of English football giants Manchester United following the famous FA Cup third-round replay in 2006.
And it seems that Munchetty - who also featured on last year's Strictly Come Dancing - might be backing the Brewers.
She tweeted the message: "Good luck @burtonalbionfc I'm sorry I didn't know about where the team was from! Will follow more closely xx"
The Breakfast presenter, a keen golfer, had plenty of replies about Albion and what she could do in the area, including a suggestion of where she could play her next round.
