A rubber products firm in Swadlincote is on the hunt for an experienced manufacturing planner to join the team. The vacancy at Dellner Woodville, in Heartcote Road, will involve the successful candidate to plan complex material, machine and man power capacity requirements for the business.

The company has been involved in many diverse areas of rubber processing from producing rubber soles for footwear in the 1950s to complex polymer components. Today, Dellner Woodville is the largest supplier of train connection systems in the world. The company supplies couplers, gangways, hatches, dampers and crash management systems.

Bosses at the company are looking for a candidate from a manufacturing background who is self-motivated, with the ability to organise and prioritise work load. Good time management skills, the ability to work unsupervised and a good eye for details are also a must for the role.

The successful candidate can expect to to be responsible for the planning of material and capacity requirements, stock taking, carrying out material checks and producing a weekly production plan.

Applicants for the role should have a valid UK driving licence, experience of working with Inform M3 and Movex ERP Package, experience working in a similar role in a manufacturing environment, as well as training in a planning qualification or similar.
