A new development company covering South Derbyshire is looking for a chairman and directors to join the board.
Derbyshire Developments Limited is a newly established development company, owned by Derbyshire County Council, with an objective to add value through the development of surplus or under-utilised council land.
Initial projects range from low-cost homes for first-time buyers, to prestigious, executive homes commanding premium values.
The first managing director is now in post and bosses are planning to launch a significant programme so are seeking to recruit a non-executive chairman and two non-executive directors to join the company board.
Applications are invited from candidates who offer previous non-executive experience and who can demonstrate a successful career in either property development or finance, ideally from a customer perspective.
