Trinity Mirror, the Burton Mail's parent company, has a job on offer for a Plus Loyalty sales executive who will be responsible for offers in the paper and online.

Plus Loyalty Club is a new initiative which aims to reward readers of Trinity Mirror newspapers - including the Burton Mail and sister paper Derby Telegraph - with competitions, exciting offers, free products and VIP events.

Now Trinity Mirror is seeking an "enthusiastic and outgoing" sales executive to work as part of its Plus Loyalty Club team which is based in the East Midlands and covers the Burton Mail.

The successful applicant would be responsible for sourcing and securing new offers for the company.

A Trinity Mirror spokesman said: "This is an exciting opportunity for a pro-active individual to work within a close-knit team.

"While sales experience would be an advantage, an outgoing personality and confident telephone manner are essential, along with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

"You will also need excellent copy writing skills and be able to improve on copy supplied by others to make a more compelling read. You must also be confident using digital platforms and systems."

The perks of the full-time position for the successful applicant within the company include a competitive salary, 25 days holiday a year, and joining the company pension scheme after completing a qualifying period.
