A Burton-based tyre giant is looking for a graduate to join the team as the new HR analyst. Pirelli is looking for someone with a degree in subjects such as business, finance, accounting or statistics with previous experience within a data focused role to take on the title.

The successful applicant will assist and support with the production, analysis and reporting of HR metric data so need to be "comfortable and confident" in analysing numerical data, preferably with experience of working within a multi-functioning team.

Key activities in the role will include sense checking of HR metrics, regular extraction, manipulation and formatting of reports from SAP, monitoring of headcount metrics, monitoring labour costs, supporting with headcount activities, ensuring decisions are communicated accordingly and liaison with UK based and international colleagues.

Bosses are looking for someone with strong IT skills, high level of attention to detail, flexible approach to work and able to work under pressure, ability to prioritise, co-ordinate and organise workload, ensuring deadlines are achieved and the ability to work alone and as part of a team.

A spokesman said: "Fundamental to its success and therefore essential for this role is someone with a genuine interest and passion for numbers and people – so come prepared to talk to us about why it is your passion and how good your Excel skills are.

"While based in Burton, we would expect the successful candidate to travel to other Pirelli sites as required, which may include international travel."
