Connex Education, who specialise in recruitment in education, are working on behalf of a primary school in Swadlincote, which is on the lookout for a new key stage one teacher to take the reins ahead of the new academic year.

In the role, you will be required to teach a class of pupils between the age of five and seven, but also be confident enough to handle a class of key stage two children, who could be as old as 11-years-old.

The daily role is ideal for any applicant who is already a qualified teacher and has previous experience of teaching at key stage one.

The successful applicant will have taught for at least four months out of the last year and should have a valid DBS check and be knowledgeable of the current key stage one curriculum.

A salary of between £100 and £140 per day is on offer for the contracted role.
