An East Staffordshire housing provider is looking for four new people to join the team, taking on a variety of different roles.

Trent and Dove Housing, a registered provider of social and affordable housing across East Staffordshire and South Derbyshire, is now seeking to hire inspired and motivated people to become the new project manager, investment manager, property surveyor and estates supervisor.

The company currently manages more than 5,800 properties and is aiming to provide 10,000 homes by 2022.

Here is a little more information about the positions:

  • Project manager in facilities – the successful applicant will manage, co-ordinate and deliver a wide range of maintenance contracts including M&E equipment, communal facilities, fire detection systems, ground maintenance and cleaning contracts from preparation to completion. They will be required to have strong customer service and communication skills as well as an extensive knowledge of health and safety and have the minimum qualification on HNC or equivalent in facilities management.   • Investment manager - as a key member of the senior asset management team, the successful applicant will have a strategic and organised approach to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of re-investment into the housing stock portfolio. Duties will also include monitoring all investment activities for all project manager programmes, ensuring that decisions are based on accurate data and value for money.   • Property surveyor – an enthusiastic person is needed to join the commercial team. They will be required to liaise with contractors and customers, to oversee and carry out quality inspections on completed works and assist with the preparation and delivery of planned and programmed maintenance contracts. The successful applicant will need a minimum of National Certificate in Building Studies or equivalent in building construction. Anyone interested can find out more here.

  • Estates supervisor – the role will see the successful applicant join the in-house repairs team and will be responsible for the delivery of an effective, customer focused, value for money caretaking and handymen service to the estates. They will be responsible for site supervision of work in progress and work effectively to ensure that resources are allocated efficiently to achieve safe and clean neighbourhoods. They are looking for someone with a relevant HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in facilities and estate management or other relevant subject. More information is available here.
