A burglar has gone on the run from an open prison near Burton, Uttoxeter and South Derbyshire. Derbyshire police said that convict Patrick Doran absconded from HMP Sudbury on Thursday, August 10 and anyone with information is urged to get in touch with officers.
The 36-year-old was sentenced at Chester Crown Court in November 2016 to four years in prison for burglary.
Doran is described as being white, 5ft 8in with brown hair and green eyes. He is also said to be clean shaven and has scars on his left forearm.
The last known address of Doran is in Rusilip, West London.
Anyone who has seen Doran or has any information about where he might be is asked to call Derbyshire police on 101.
