Derbyshire Police is appealing for information about the theft of four wildlife cameras that have been taken in Swadlincote.

The four cameras were placed at a plot of land just off Church Street, in Church Gresley and were take overnight between Monday, July 24 and Tuesday, July 25.

Police community support officer Clair Statham is dealing with the incident from the Gresley, Woodville and Swadlincote Safer Neighbourhood team.

She has called on anybody with information to come forward to the police about the theft.

She said: “We would ask if anyone saw anything suspicious that night or has been offered this type of camera for sale that they make contact with us.”

The taken cameras were Apeman Trail wildlife models, and are a dark grey and green colour in the shape of a rectangle.
