A 24-year-old man from Swadlincote has been banned from attending Derby County matches at Pride Park for three years.

Kieran Bexon, of Regent Street, Swadlincote, appeared at Southern Derbyshire Magistrates’ Court, where he was made the subject of a football banning order. It was alleged that Bexon, who did not enter a plea, caused or contributed to violence or disorder in the UK.

Magistrates made him the subject of a football banning order preventing him from attending Derby County home and away matches for three years.

Other conditions of the order include him not entering London Road, Derby, during football matches, and not visiting any towns or cities in which Derby County will play.

He has also been told not to use trains or the London Underground while England is playing a home game or when Derby County is playing away.

These conditions have proven to reduce violence and disorder surrounding Derby County football fixtures both home and away. They have been agreed in consultation with the local Crown Prosecution Service and clearly impact upon the activities of the Derby football risk supporter group.
