To have beautiful families of swans walking around our local area makes us extremely lucky, but we need to make sure that we care for them properly and don’t cause them any danger.
The creatures, owned by the Queen, seem to be relaxed and peaceful but can be vicious if they think they are threatened. Don’t be tempted to approach the swans, no matter how cute the families can look, as they are extremely strong animals and can cause serious injuries.
We urge you to avoid the swans if you see them about, and look at them from a distance. We wouldn’t want to scare these wonderful animals away, or for anyone to be injured by them, so we should make sure that we simply appreciate the swans and realise how lucky we are to have such wildlife.
