Residents thinking of part-exchanging their home for a newly-built property are being invited to learn more at an event in Burton this weekend.

Home builder Strata, is hosting a part-exchange event at Temptation, its latest development in Reservoir Road, in Shobnall, on Saturday, September 23,

Potential purchasers are invited to attend the event from 10am to 5pm to when advice will be on offer from one of Strata's customer experience managers, who will explain how its part exchange scheme works, said a spokesman.

Bosses say the event will be ideal for second-time buyers looking to move up the property ladder as the scheme allows them to exchange their existing property as part payment for a new Strata home.

In addition to receiving one-to-one guidance on the part exchange scheme, visitors can also see first-hand what they can expect from a Strata home.

Andrew Weaver, chief executive of Strata, said: "At Strata we understand how important it is for people to settle in and start enjoying their new home as soon as possible. That's why we aim to make the whole transition as easy as possible.

"Our part exchange scheme is just one of several financial options that we offer, which is becoming increasingly popular for those wanting to move up in the market.

"The initiative is simple; first two independent valuations will be taken out on your home and in less than seven days you will receive an offer. Once the offer is accepted, we will work with you to build your new Strata home.

"The great news is that you will be able to live in your existing property throughout the whole of the build process, until your new home is complete."
