Plans to demolish part of TG Green's Pottery site in Church Gresley have been withdrawn as the latest applications have been decided by South Derbyshire District Council:

Former TG Green Pottery, John Street/Pool Street, Church Gresley - part demolition of former pottery to facilitate security measures and repairs to retained kilns and grade ii* listed. demolition to include all curtilage buildings – withdrawn.

Merrilees, Cadley Hill Road, Swadlincote - outline application (all matters to be reserved) for the erection of two dwellings and garages – withdrawn.

20 Queensway, Melbourne - proposed single storey rear extension with eaves of 2.5 metres and maximum height of 3.5 metres extending 4 metres from the rear wall – approved.

Breach Farm, Cadley Lane, Caldwell, Swadlincote - the construction of a 40mw energy storage scheme with 1 no building (sui generis) to provide back up electricity services to the grid for a period of 25 years from the date of commission of the battery storage scheme – approved.

Brunel Health Care Packaging, William Nadin Way, Swadlincote - the erection of an aluminium framed warehouse – approved.

Ashefields Rest Home, Ash Lane, Etwall - the retention of a conservatory and canopy – approved.

103 Archway House, Main Street, Ticknall - the felling of a plum tree – approved.

Trelleborg Sealing Solutions, Ryder Close, Castle Gresley - the erection of a proposed steel building extension to the existing – approved.

11 The Green, Willington - the erection of an extension to the restaurant – approved.
